Well Grounded is looking for a dynamic, self-starting Fundraising Manager to enable us to deliver on our mission, which is to support civil society organisations in Africa to reach their full potential and achieve real, positive change for environmental and social justice.
The main objective of the job is to actively develop and provide oversight of fundraising in order to secure the financial resources necessary for the healthy functioning of Well Grounded. This will involve developing a fundraising strategy, coordinating funding proposals, managing donor relations and representing Well Grounded. The job will also involve managing a large grant from the UK Department of International Development.
You will be part of a small team you will help identify new donors and develop innovative and effective projects and will need to be flexible and good at managing your time and collaborating with colleagues around the world, particularly in the Congo Basin.
You will have at least five years of fundraising and grant management experience and will be able to communicate confidently in English and French.
