MISSION AND MAIN ACTIVITIES
In its various fields of intervention, the field administration manager will have to make sure of:
the respect for rules and procedures ALIMA decided for the country
the good functional organization of the resources on his ground
the follow-up of the use of the ways (spending and commitments)
the adequacy in number, skills and affectations of the administrative RH
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
· Accounting : ensure the application of safety money regulations, respect of procedures and expenses legibility on the mission
· Cash management : ensure permanently a requiered finance level for the project progress
· Budget management : translate under budgetary shape all the means informations
· Means overall management : set up requiered elements for the material resources follow-up
· Administrative and qualitative management of the national staff : ensure the respect of the administrative rules in the management of national staff and ensure that these rules are joined and respected by all
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Experience
University degree in finance, administration, and human resources
Minimum 1 year experience in Finance & HR management
Experience in a similar position for at least 1 year
Experience with medical international NGO, an asset
Team management and supervision skills
Perfect knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel & Word
Knowledge of Saga (Finance software) & Homere (HR software) is highly appreciated
Applicant qualities
Sense of organization, method and autonomy
Used to working in a team in multicultural contexts
Skills in training and support
Excellent capacity of understanding and respect for medical procedures
Rigorous, stress resistant and good adaptation capacity
Languages
- English is mandatory (written, read, spoken), French and Hausa are an asset
CONDITIONS
Contract term: contract under French law, 3 or 6 months, renewable
Salary: depending on experience + per diem
ALIMA pays for:
travel costs between the expatriate’s country of origin and the mission location
accommodation costs
medical cover from the first day of the contract to a month after the date of departure from the mission country for the employee
evacuation of the employee
